Ingredients
- 8 TBS Butter
- a Portion Size of Cannabis infused butter per potency preference
- 1 TBS All-Purpose Baking Flour
- 2 TBS Dry White Wine *Optional
- 1½ Cup Heavy Cream
- a Portion Size of Cannabis Infused Milk or Cream per potency preference
- 1 Cup Fresh Parmesan Cheese Grated
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg Ground
- 1 TBS Italian Seasoning
- a Portion Size of Decarbed Ground Cannabis Flower Toss-In per Potency Preference
- 1 TBS Garlic Cloves Minced
- salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine non-infused and infused butter together, if using this method.
- Combine non-infused and infused heavy cream together, if using this method.
- In heavy skillet, add butter and cook on medium low until butter is melted.
- Add in garlic and stir until garlic is slightly browned.
- Whisk in baking flour until smooth.
- Whisk in wine, if using in this recipe.
- Slowly whisk in cream, adding ¼ of a cup at a time until all cream is fully incorporated.
- Whisk out lumps while adding the liquid to the butter / flour mixture.
- Continue to whisk and incorporate ingredients until mixture begins to thicken.
- Add in Parmesan Cheese, nutmeg and pepper.
- Add in Italian Seasoning and Ground Cannabis Flower Toss-In, if using this method.
- Continue stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
- Alternatively, add in Italian Seasoning only and hold off on the Cannabis Toss In. When plated, sprinkle ground cannabis flower on top of the alfredo dish for garnish and customized potency strength per person's preferences.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight storage container with label identifying potency strength. Keep refrigerated until ready for use.
