Ingredients
- 1 Shot Your preferred hard liquor such as whiskey, vodka, rum, tequila, etc.
- 4 to 6 Ounces Your choice of wine red, white, blush, or sparkling, depending on your preference.
- Ice optional
- Garnish optional, such as a lemon or lime twist
Instructions
- Start by pouring the shot of hard liquor into a shot glass. Choose a liquor that complements the flavor profile of the wine you'll be using.
- In a separate glass (such as a wine glass or rocks glass), pour the desired amount of wine. You can adjust the amount based on your preference for a stronger or milder cocktail.
- If you prefer your cocktail chilled, you can add ice to the wine glass before pouring in the wine.
- Pour the shot of liquor into the glass of wine and stir gently to combine the flavors, or,
- VARIATION: Carefully drop the shot glass of liquor into the wine glass. You can do this gently to avoid splashing.
- garnish your cocktail with a twist of lemon or lime for added flavor and visual appeal.
