ΒΌcupDried Calendula Flowers (if infusing your own calendula oil)
3ozJojoba Oil or Olive Oil (if infusing your own calendula oil)
Instructions
𧴠Prepare Calendula-Infused Oil
If you're making calendula-infused oil yourself, place dried calendula flowers (about 1/4 cup) into a glass jar and cover with jojoba oil or olive oil (about 3 oz).
Seal the jar and place it in a warm, dark spot for 7β10 days.
Shake the jar daily, then strain out the flowers after the infusion period.
If you have pre-made calendula oil, you can skip the infusion process.
𧴠Mix the Oils
Combine CBD Oil: In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 oz of CBD oil with the calendula-infused oil (or calendula oil).
Add Carrier Oils: Add 2 oz of jojoba oil to the mixture for its nourishing properties.
Add Vitamin E: Stir in 10 drops of Vitamin E oil for added skin protection and to help preserve the oil.
𧴠Add Essential Oils
Add 10 drops of lavender essential oil, 5 drops of frankincense, and 5 drops of chamomile essential oil for their skin-healing and calming properties.
Stir well to combine all ingredients.
𧴠Bottle and Store
Pour the finished oil into an 8 oz (240 mL) glass bottle with a secure lid.
Betsy's Infusion Notes:
πRecipe Notesπ Calendula Infusion: For best results, use dried calendula flowers rather than fresh flowers, as they are more concentrated in active compounds. You can use olive oilΒ as a carrier for the infusion if you prefer a more neutral scent. π CBD Oil: Choose full-spectrum CBD oil for the full range of cannabinoids, or CBD isolateΒ for a more neutral, non-THC option. πStorage: Store the oil in a cool, dark place. This oil should last for about 6 monthsΒ with proper storage. πPatch Test: If you are unsure about any of the essential oils, itβs best to perform a patch test before applying the oil to larger areas of the skin.π Therapeutic BenefitsThis Calendula-CBD Skin Therapy Oil is perfect for professional massage therapists treating clients with dry skin, eczema, or inflammation. Calendulaβs anti-inflammatory properties are enhanced by the calming effects of CBD, while the soothing essential oils promote skin healing and overall relaxation. Ideal for massages focusing on skin repair, relaxation, and inflammation relief.
