In a separate bowl, mix chamomile infused oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and aloe vera gel.
Stir to combine.

Once the butters and beeswax have melted, remove from heat and add the essential oils: lavender, chamomile, and frankincense.

𧴠Blend Together
Slowly pour the liquid oils and aloe vera gel mixture into the melted butter and beeswax mixture while stirring continuously.
You may need to use a hand blender or whisk to fully incorporate and create a smooth, creamy consistency.
𧴠Set & Store
Let the mixture cool at room temperature until it begins to solidify.
Then transfer the lotion into an 8 oz glass jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Betsy's Infusion Notes:
π Chamomile Infused Oil: To make your own chamomile-infused oil, simply steep dried chamomile flowers in a carrier oil (such as olive oil or coconut oil) for 1-2 weeks in a sunny window, shaking daily.π Consistency: If you prefer a thicker lotion, add a little more beeswax or shea butter. If itβs too thick, adjust with more coconut oil or aloe vera gel for a lighter consistency.π Storage: This lotion should last for about 6 months when stored properly in a cool, dark place.π Customization: You can substitute lavender essential oil with roman chamomile for a deeper chamomile scent, or experiment with other calming oils like bergamot or sandalwoodΒ for a different aromatic experience. This Chamomile Comfort LotionΒ is perfect for professional massage therapists looking to provide clients with a calming, soothing, and skin-nourishing experience. Ideal for sensitive skin, it offers both therapeutic and aesthetic benefits, helping to ease tension, reduce inflammation, and deeply hydrate the skin.
