  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp lemon zest (optional for brightness)
  • 1 tbsp honey or infused honey (optional for floral sweetness)

Instructions

Prep Butter Base

  • In a large bowl, cream softened butter with powdered sugar using a hand or stand mixer until fluffy (2–3 minutes).

Infuse Flavors

  • Add vanilla extract, chamomile, lavender, salt, and optional lemon zest or honey. Mix until evenly distributed.

Add Dry Ingredients

  • Sift together the flour and cornstarch. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined. Do not overwork.

Chill Dough

  • Wrap dough in parchment or plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or up to 24 hours).

Shape Cookies

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line baking sheet with parchment. Roll dough into 1-inch balls or flatten and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.

Bake
