Instructions
Prepare the Tea🫖
Brew your choice of terpene-rich herbal tea (chamomile, peppermint, or lemon balm are ideal). Allow it to cool to room temperature. If you like a sweeter flavor, stir in 1-2 teaspoons of honey while the tea is still warm.
Prepare the Lemon and Basil🍋🍃
Zest the lemon using a fine grater to extract the zest.
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a small bowl, removing any seeds.
Tear the fresh basil leaves into smaller pieces to release their natural oils.
Fill Ice Cube Tray🧊
In each section of the ice cube tray, add a few pieces of torn basil leaves, In each section of the ice cube tray, add a few pieces of lemon zest, and a few drops of lemon juice.
Pour the cooled herbal tea over the basil and lemon mixture in each ice cube slot. Ensure that the tea covers the herbs and lemon.
Freeze🥶
Fill the tray with water until the ice cube sections are fully covered.
Freeze the cubes for at least 4-6 hours or overnight until solid.
Use
Once frozen, pop the ice cubes out of the tray and use them in infused water or as part of your facial routine. For facial use, gently rub the ice cube over your face in circular motions for a cooling and refreshing effect, perfect for calming irritated or puffy skin.
