Ingredients
- 5 Pounds Lean Ground Beef
- 2 Whole Onions Coarsely Chopped
- 3 Whole Garlic Cloves Finely Minced
- 3 Cups Celery Coarsely Chopped
- 3 Whole Carrots Chopped
- 14 Ounces Canned Diced Tomatoes (1 large can)
- 14 Ounces Regular Ketchup (1 Bottle)
- 14 Ounces Hot Ketchup (1 Bottle)
- ¼ Cup Vegetable Shortening
- a Portion Size of Cannabis infused Vegetable Shortening per potency preference
- 5 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Pepper
- a Portion Size of Decarbed Ground Cannabis Flower Toss-In per Potency Preference
- 3 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions
- Combine infused and non-infused shortening per potency preference.
- Melt shortening in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions, garlic, celery and carrots. Sauté until onions are golden.
- Ad in ground beef and cook until meat is browned.
- Add salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, regular ketchup and hot ketchup.
- Add ground cannabis flower toss-in, if using this method.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Drain excess fat, if necessary.
- Cool. Place into 1 pint freezer containers. Label with cannabis potency per serving.
- Defrost when ready to use. Remember, do NOT microwave this mixture to defrost. Microwaving will zap any positive cannabinoid benefits.
