Ingredients

  • 5 Pounds Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 Whole Onions Coarsely Chopped
  • 3 Whole Garlic Cloves Finely Minced
  • 3 Cups Celery Coarsely Chopped
  • 3 Whole Carrots Chopped
  • 14 Ounces Canned Diced Tomatoes (1 large can)
  • 14 Ounces Regular Ketchup (1 Bottle)
  • 14 Ounces Hot Ketchup (1 Bottle)
  • ¼ Cup Vegetable Shortening
  • a Portion Size of Cannabis infused Vegetable Shortening per potency preference
  • 5 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Pepper
  • a Portion Size of Decarbed Ground Cannabis Flower Toss-In per Potency Preference
  • 3 TBS Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  • Combine infused and non-infused shortening per potency preference.
  • Melt shortening in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onions, garlic, celery and carrots. Sauté until onions are golden.
  • Ad in ground beef and cook until meat is browned.
  • Add salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, regular ketchup and hot ketchup.
  • Add ground cannabis flower toss-in, if using this method.
  • Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat, if necessary.
  • Cool. Place into 1 pint freezer containers. Label with cannabis potency per serving.
  • Defrost when ready to use. Remember, do NOT microwave this mixture to defrost. Microwaving will zap any positive cannabinoid benefits.
