Equipment

  • Stock Pot
  • Knife
  • Vegetable Peeler optional
  • Pie Baking Dishes If preparing your own pie crusts and not using store bought crusts

Ingredients

  • 2 Pie Crusts You can prepare a homemade pie crust using our Pie Crust Recipe or purchase store bought pie crusts from the freezer section at your local grocery store.
  • 5 to 6 Apples Peeled (if desired), cored and sliced
  • 1 Tube of Sugar Cookie Dough Store bought from the refrigerator section
  • ΒΌ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • Ground Nutmeg to taste
  • Ground Cinnamon to taste
  • a Portion Size of Cannabis Infused Granulated Sugar per potency preference.

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350℉
  • Prepare pie crusts.
  • In a stock pot, add in peeled, cored and sliced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar (infused and non-infused).
  • Heat apples until soft.
  • Add apples to prepared pie crusts.
  • Roll out sugar cookie dough. Use baking flour as needed to prevent sticking to counter or rolling pin.
  • Cut the cookie dough in half and use half of the tube of dough for one pie, and the second half for the second pie.
  • Place cookie dough on top of pie crust and apple filling.
  • Seal edges of pie with sugar cookie dough.
  • Wrap edges of pie with aluminum foil to prevent burning.
  • Bake in the oven at 350℉ for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
