
Sweet and Sour Sauce

Equipment
- Choose Storage Method: Freezer zip bags or Freezer Tupperware Containers or Airtight Storage Container.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Sugar
- a Portion Size of Cannabis Infused Granulated Sugar per potency preference.
- 3 TBS Corn Starch
- a Portion Size of Cannabis Infused Maltodextrin Powder per potency preference.
- 1½ Cup fresh water Divided
- 1 Cup Vinegar White
- 1 Cup Regular Ketchup
- 3 TBS Lemon Juice
- 1 TBS Soy Sauce
- 1 Carrot Sliced diagonally
- 8 Ounces Pineapple Chunks Canned & Drained
Instructions
- Combine non-infused and infused sugar together, if using this method.
- Combine 3 TBS Cornstarch with desired amount of Infused Maltodextrin powder.
In sauce pan add the following ingredients:
- 1 Cup of water (reserve the remaining ½ cup.
- Add vinegar, ketchup, lemon juice, soy sauce, sugar, carrot and pineapple chunks
- Boil for 10 minutes.
While boiling mixture on stovetop, in a small mixing bowl or spouted measuring cup, combine:
- Cornstarch, water and maltodextrin powder, if using this infusion method.
- Slowly pour water / cornstarch mixture into boiling sauce. A spouted measuring cup works best here. Continue to stir mixture while adding cornstarch mixture to boiling mixture.
- This sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready for use. This mixture can also be frozen until ready for use.
- Place in an airtight storage container or freezer zip bag. Label container with cannabis potency per serving.

- Served over breaded chicken, breaded seafood, grilled chicken or grilled seafood on top of a bed rice noodles.
- Served over vegetables.
- Used in a stir-fry recipe.
- Used as a dip for won tons.
- Any recipe mixture that calls for a sweet and sour sauce.
- Anything else you use sweet and sour sauce for in recipes!
